Suncoast Parkway Completion

The project consisted of completing Section 1A and IB of the Suncoast Parkway, including over 4 miles of interstate and 5 new bridges. The St. Paul Surety Company asked PCL to complete the project after another contractor was removed from the contract. PCL mobilized on to the project within one week and had forty workers working within three weeks. PCL immediately redesigned the MOT phasing which expedited both the the completion of this project and the opening of the Veteran's Expressway, which is the roadway that tied into this project. Suncoast Parkway Project received the 2001 FTBA Major Interstate Award.
