MPL 400 Nitrogen Liquefier Plant Relocation

The project involved the relocation of a 400 ton per day liquid nitrogen plant from Praxair's Hatfield, Pennsylvania plant to their Prentiss, Alberta air separation facility. The feed stock for the plant is nitrogen gas, which was previously vented back to the atmosphere after the air separation process. The liquid nitrogen produced is trucked off-site, and is primarily used in the coal bed methane recovery industry.
