Project Description
Currently operating out of seven different locations in Regina, the College has grown to a point where it needs a home that allows everyone (First Nations and non-First Nations) to share the cultural importance and significance of Aboriginal people in Saskatchewan and Canada. Designed by Douglas Cardinal, world-renowned Aboriginal Architect, in consultation with First Nations Elders, staff, faculty and community, the new College will be a 139,160 sf, four-story building. Designed in a semicircle that faces south, like the Sundance Lodge, our semicircle will open its arms to embrace the sunÂ's warmth and light. The circle is a powerful symbol in Indian Society because it signifies that all beings are connected.
